Back in the day England had expanded its territory, even to India. To supply our troops with ale we added extra malt and even more hops to conserve the ale for the long journey ahead. A new ale was born: India Pale Ale (IPA). The ships to India were protected by sea lions. Our Sea Lion’s IPA is special and different from our other ales; it is a strong ale! We added Fuggle and East Kent Golding hops, and we dry-hopped it with Northern Brewer hops. This combination is so extreme that you must love the aroma. Real English, nice and bitter.
